A set from a sentence
Describe what you need, or paste your own text. AI drafts the phrases, a cover and even a song, within a daily limit, and every AI item says it’s AI.
Hear a phrase in your language. Say it in the pause. Hear it in the language you’re learning, then say it again. Loro brings each phrase back just before you’d forget it.
The film
The loop on a phone, each language in its own voice, the sets and songs you make, and what Loro won’t do. The words are on the picture, so it plays muted too.
This is Loro. It teaches you a language the way you’ll actually use it: one phrase at a time.
First, you hear the phrase in your own language. “The bill, please.” Then it goes quiet. That’s your turn: say it out loud, in Spanish. Now hear how it’s really said. “La cuenta, por favor.” Say it once more, just as you heard it. Then rate how it went.
A real memory model decides when it comes back, so you review it just before you’d forget.
It runs hands-free, like a playlist. On a walk, on the bus, while the coffee brews.
Spanish, Bulgarian, Russian, Polish, Czech and English. ¿Dónde está la estación? Къде е гарата? Где вокзал? Gdzie jest dworzec? Kde je nádraží? Where’s the station?
Make sets of your own with AI, for any moment you want to be ready for. Loro even turns your phrases into songs.
Your voice never leaves your phone: nothing is recorded. And no screen ever shames a missed day.
Loro is Spanish for parrot. Say it until it’s yours.
The loop
Loro plays like a playlist, hands-free. You don’t flip cards or type answers; you talk back, out loud, in the pauses.
“Listen in English”
The phrase in your own language, so you know what you’re about to say.
“Say it out loud in Spanish”
Say it in the pause, before you hear it. Guessing is how it sticks.
“Hear it in Spanish”
Now the Spanish, spoken and written, so you can check yourself.
“Say it again, just as you heard it”
Copy the rhythm and the melody, not only the words.
“Did you remember it?”
Missed, Hard or Easy. One tap, or wait and the loop goes on.
Nothing is recorded — you rate how it went. Loro doesn’t even ask for the microphone.
Courses
Learn Spanish, Bulgarian, British or American English, Russian, Polish or Czech, with Loro speaking to you in English, Bulgarian, Russian, Polish or Czech. It never teaches you your own language.

“The bill, please”, in every course.
Memory
Each rating goes into FSRS, an open memory model that runs in Loro’s Rust core, on your phone. It works out when a phrase is about to slip and plays it to you then — the same code on Android, iOS and the web.
Make it yours
Make sets for the trip, the in-laws, the new job. Keep them, share them, sing them.
Describe what you need, or paste your own text. AI drafts the phrases, a cover and even a song, within a daily limit, and every AI item says it’s AI.
A set can carry songs sung from its phrases. They play in the same player, and you rate them like phrases.
Phone in your pocket, loop still going, with controls on the lock screen and in the shade.
Courses download once and stay on the phone. Progress lives on the device, and follows you to others when you sign in.
Keep a set to yourself, share it by link, or publish it for everyone in Community.
Grammar shows up only on a phrase you already care about. Ask for a mnemonic or a grammar note, and ask again for another.
Every phrase is spoken by a natural-sounding voice, the same one each time, so your ear settles in.
Three promises
You talk back to every phrase, out loud. Loro doesn’t record you and doesn’t ask for the microphone. There is no cloud speech recognition, now or later.
Recall and progress come from what you actually did and from the real memory model. Nothing is estimated to look encouraging.
No streak to lose and no screen that scolds you. Come back whenever; Loro picks up where your memory is.
